havent got a head on but are we sure the winner followed the 2nd? i mean jockeys ride their horse towards the other one all the time so they know they have something to race against?

The head on i saw it was quite clear the 2nd went that way first imo. Stewards are a law unto themselves but in no way did the 2nd interfere with the 1st. Would be a joke decision to reverse but who knows.

An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference on the run to the line when initially both the winner, SEXY SECRET, ridden by Jack Mitchell and COMPETITION, placed second, ridden by Silvestre De Sousa appeared to be drifting right independently of each other before SEXY SECRET continued to drift right intimidating COMPETITION off its intended line. The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved COMPETITION’s placing as minimal momentum was lost as a result of the interference and SEXY SECRET always appeared to be holding the second to win by a nose at the line. Mitchell was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right without sufficient correction.
