How come you're not using x% of the bankroll rather than fixed liab? One bad spell of variance is too unforgiving
p.s. I'm so happy to see someone else use snaggy I used to use it a few years ago haha |

I track all lay systems with €50 stake on odds below 3.1 and €100 at higher odds. The solid systems never lost half of the bankroll even with such aggressive staking. This system looks like it will be better to back.

still pretendy money?

the search for the holy grail continues. if the laying system doesnt work out use same criteria but then back brilliant stuff Gaze.

geooff that's the idea. An average lay system breaks even after 20 bets, this one just goes down and down so it might be another backing grail

you mean in running? I've had a couple that drifted to 300 or even 1000 and won.

Horses names containing a human name that's in the top 100 official names book that year with two white socks coming from stalls 1-5 at galloping tracks over less than 1
mile 4f flat turf only at price 3.5 or less these are lays Gaze it's the mother of all grails BUT just in case after 20 or 30 bets it shows losses just switch it around and it's a grail backing system ![]() |

I've tried dozens of lay systems, so I can say with 100% confidence this one will be profitable to back. It might be just 5 or 10% roi but still profitable.
|
|
By:
But anything above 20% will be grail worthy.

anyone want a holy grail system for free, just lay the next 6 (1/2 shots).take 20 quid for each horse, the backer needs 5 winners to show a profit.
and if he is lucky enough to get his six winners up ,all you have to do is lay 40 quid a time on his next 6 (1/2 shots) and if the backer gets his second 6 winners(12 in total)lay his next 6 at 80 quid a time, and if he gets his 18 winners on the trot you must be laying my bets ![]() ![]() ![]() |
|
By:
but seriously ,if you really want a holy grail just lay 1/2 shots on football teams playing away from home and your bank manager will be calling you by your first name very soon.

following systems makes you lazy. just like following tipsters.
as the great Alex Bird once said - 'you have to go for value'. just my 2c. |
|
By:
someone who hasnt put in many dozens of hours of research to find systems worth following (the 'great' Alex Bird had a rather meagre ROI, his success dependent on high stakes, if i remember right...happy to be corrected)
|
|
By:
there are two types of gamblers 1= is a guy who searches for a mathematical system that shows profit and 2 the other is a guy who likes to show profit by skill and judgement.both have the same goal to make profit. We see this situation every day.The bookmaker tries to win using a mathematical system while the punter tries to win by skill judgement and knowledge.
the question is which type of gambler are you? |
|
By:
the big difference is that the mathematical gambler does not care what team or horse wins, while the other gets great joy of being correct because his selection was correct.some gamblers need the buzz of being correct in their decision.
|
|
By:
and finally you have a guy who backs horses and teams to win one day and changes to laying the next day.this guy is doomed before he starts, because this guy is trying to burn the candle at both ends and we all know what happens when we attempt that, the candle burns quickly and the owner of the candle usually gets his fingers burned in the end.and ends up with a confused mind.

Fair play for trying though - let's face it everyone has been there at some point in their gambling career. If people didn't try we'd have to shut the exchange down...

Thanks for reminding me, I just found the spreadsheet and I stopped using that system for no reason in 2018. Next pick is Easy Equation in 8.00. Since the lay system is very bad, the horse should run well.
|
|
By:
With so many systems I might forget about some holy grails.
|
|
By:
Hm, it might only work with forecast favs because most of the horses had early prices below 4.0 in my spreadsheet. Forecast favs never lose.
