Wasn't that the game that Harry Findlay had a 5 figure sum on (Ajax) and went to watch it ? I vaguely remember it from his book.

Most people just did the Football pools in those days although I don't think single match betting was available then.

Andrew in Sweden Harry Findlay would have only have been about 7 years old so although he started young I doubt even he would had that bet then I'm fairly sure it was the cup winners cup in 1987 or the uefa cup in 1992 that he was filmed celebrating at.
