May 2013 i was leading the last 4 days of the premiership naps table. On the 31st i think i was about £2+ clear and selected Secret Gesture in the Oaks, she was 3/1. She finished 2nd, but my closest rivals didn't win either, so i thought i had won it.
it was not to be, a poster languising in the lower depths had selected Talent, the 20/1 winner and pipped me. I can't remember his name, but I hate him and haven't slept well since |

Madhatters, i have a feeling Talent was a stablemate of Secret Gesture. Whatever, she ruined my chance for 15 minutes of fame by winning the premiership naps table
. It was the closest i got. I don't subscribe to DB's methods of laying, Cowley is a conditional, jockey and trainer haven't had many runners lately anyway, but it's not a critique on my part, each to their own. I've also layed mine with hard cash earlier, although not at 2.06 |
