Just back from the city centre where I managed to get a few bob on my selection at average odds of 5/4. Don't like these FOBT'S as with most punters but happy to have fifty one 'bookmakers' in Aberdeen for trolling purposes.

The form horse, but first run this year, debut on AW and i just wonder if 5f will be on the sharp side. No telling how good Crisfords newcomer is, but trainer in form. Midsummer Night will probably give them a tow into the race and could hold on, but no bet for me. Good luck.

Silly question Andrew but apart from online can you place a bet in Sweden?

Stewart, only for Swedish racing (gallop and trotting). I don't have UK high street accounts and use BF, although when i'm in UK i use shops sometimes.

I used to live in Germany (2007) and you could bet on UK racing there at the time, not sure now.

I would have flukes but for lesser stakes. If only I had put FAV on my tickets...

Anyways, unbeknown to me Big D has been giving his good lady any money he's made following my selections and put it in a kitty for a holiday. In the past year he has won just under 4k.

85-95% of those bets were non AW racing. A lesson for all I would think given the criticism I give AW racing.

Believe it or not, if I troll say, 10 shops and I'm fairly sure My selection is going to go off FAV, that's what I put on my tickets as nine out of ten go under the radar due to the fact the staff can't call in with the name of a horse.

Hopefully break the losing run soon but not too long a losing run...

if it doesnt run does your money not go on a horse you have no intention of backing?

how do you get prices on them
By:

Can you put FAV on condition it doesn't drift to about 50% bigger than it's early price?
By:
s.kenbo
When: 05 Apr 18 15:49
He's not taking the price. It's impossible to do so.

It's also a complete waste of time going to the shops to bet like that. You're on at SP. A silly way of betting imo. Who wants to place a bet without knowing who/what you're backing?

Stewart, I can't see any benefit in writing FAV, what if you had done it today and MK had got beat, you would have been as sick as a Parrot. Additionaly, surely the cashier still has to ring a trader anyway if you're placing a few bob on, there is still an 'envisaged' take out ?

with all due respect stewarty, i find that astounding that you would bet like that.
