Backed the winner. Cannot believe there's no stewards. WTF are they there for?
Anywhere else in the World result is reversed. British rules are a joke!

It's going to take a jockey being killed before the half-wits at the BHA do anything about the stupid rules . (NOT pocket talking as I backed the
winner at 27.0).

In one sense you are right, granit. The smart ride was on the winner. Seeing the other coming to pass on the inside she cut it off knowing that the
chances were the stewards might give her a holiday but were unlikely to reverse the result if she won by more than a pixel!

I backed the 2nd but my point is that if it had won by a short head it would have been reversed. What is the difference between a short head and half a length as the move changed the result of the race so should be reversed.

An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference approximately a furlong out when the winner, BELIEVE IT (IRE), ridden by Nicola Currie, drifted right-handed, away from the whip, causing OUD METHA BRIDGE, placed second, ridden by Shelley Birkett, to have to take a check and switch left. The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved BELIEVE IT (IRE)’s placing as the horse had won by half a length and always appeared to be holding the second. Currie was cautioned for careless riding as she allowed her horse to drift right on to the rail when not sufficiently clear.

Agree with the stewards. It didn't seem to be getting on terms before it was snatched up. And the winner could have found more if challenged.
The fact that the second was gaining towards the line after the winner had done its running, doesn't mean it could have passed it earlier.
How many horses win going away?
