Might Bite did well...always kept tabs on NR...loomed up, made his challenge but just up against a better stayer.

Great race and the 2nd proved me wrong as I thought he had no chance on that ground.

Native river was very good but why was might bite racing with him he struggled in the rsa to get up the hill so why be so handy?

Agreed, a great guy as well. In the early days when Brocade racing had their first success I stopped Colin one day at Newbury and asked if they sold shares as I thought it must be a racing syndicate club but Colin replied that they were neighbouring farmers who owned 100% of the horses. As a farmer myself I wondered what sort of farm it was until Colin with that wicked smile caught my arm and said "mind you they did sell a big block of land for building" Could not happen to a better team.

If you mean me, I have spoken to Colin dozens of times and Joe rode horses for me so check your facts before being sarcastic.
