jml that applies to most poker players unfortunately.Going back a few years it was different, you could win yourself a wsop package on bf worth around $15000 on top of that perks off bf when you get there so basically freerolling for 2 weeks. most poker site had free packages for high raking players

Let's have a look at the facts. We've got a well established poker player who's cashed out more than half a million quid in live tournaments. Then we've got a kid who sits in his bedroom grinding out enough play to earn a few quid from rake backs each week/month.

It can't get anymore David Vs Goliath than that. I hope you've got a decent catapult, Koddy.

deejay. I very much doubt Koddy is a player anyone has ever heard of.

He is a legend of the game, but unfortunately it's all in his own mind! Wink

He's probably not even the best player in is own house!! Grin

@deejay

I generally only play live. The only times I play online is on Grosvenor or Poker Stars, in the Satellites for the GUKPT or GPS main events, as you can often win a seat for £55/£110 and the standard is poor. A lot of the Grosvenor comps now have a day 1 online as well.

I wouldn't play online comps or cash as the standard of play is poor, and the beats are unreal. In a £1100 comp live, the standard is normally decent, yes you will get some odd plays but generally it's easy to keep out of trouble. For the £1000 online comps, the problem is there are like 50p - £2 sats and there are so many of them in 4-5 legs that bad players can easy sat into them meaning you've no real idea of who is playing against you. In a live casino, you often know the majority of your opposition and how they play on the UK circuit. I've been playing professionally 5 years.

@Deejay

I also couldn't have had an account on here pre 2006, as I was still a jockey at that stage.
