The weather forecast for Ascot on Saturday afternoon is 40 to 50 mph winds, apart from the rain. I have no idea what it would be like to ride half a ton of horse over jumps for 2 to 3 miles in those conditions, but I think quite a lot of 'form' will go out of the window.

I would certainly throw all the 2-3M jumps form out the window for Saturday if I was you.
Irregular poster goes on fishing trip, makes a change from the usual culprits I suppose.
There are jump meetings on Saturday as well. Was the original poster referring to jump races in general-the weather is likely to affect Ffos Las and Stratford as well.
Given that Ascot is named in the thread title, long odds against....
