Discounting any trainer is in a sexual relationship with a female jockey, it's highly unlikely she would be given a decent job just to be politically correct and it's even more unlikely that she would keep it unless she was successful in the job.

And even those trainers in a sexual relationship probably wouldn't put up with any failures for too long, especially if their owners were maybe unhappy with the situation.

HRB does it easily as it has a Jockey (Male/Female) criterion.

I'll just put up a list of female jockeys who have had 10 rides or more in 2017 to save on space.

Women jockeys vary as do men. In my view the best woman riding at the moment is Joanna Mason. She does not get many high profile rides but at northern meetings she gets plenty of rides and wins on the ones that should win. It is always telling when a jockey gets plenty of outside rides. Ruth Carr, Marco Botti and of course her relatives the Easterby's all give her rides on fancied horses and she has ridden a winner for William Haggas. Several chances at Southwell today.
