Hi guys, not going too well these past couple of days, let's hope things pick up soon.
Thought I'd try going through the card at Brighton today, but couldn't settle on a selection in 2 races and one of my others is outside the price limit for this thread. Finally, my lay in the 4.00 race was done before the withdrawal of Milky Way, not so confident now. For what its worth OP
The advantage on here is backing > Its not a difficult calcul as the % explains to any . Laying is not always the profitable option although in certain instances there are no other options . But Be aware the advantage is huge in backing and therefore the reverse is true. Fact. |

On average its about 1.12 per runner above the books therefore gives any an advantage without horse knowledge or form study which will increase that massively.
The layer pays over the odds but has the cross matched market . So it ends up with the smart people . |

after years and years of betting/laying for a living I tread very very carefully after royal ascot....sort of take july to october off and work on oct-june as the time of the year to make hay.....too much racing in summer with the wrong types of racing.....much better to find a poor fav and bet against it and perhaps protect stake in running. when I first went full time I started in sept and made a packet by may....gave half back in the summer months....too much racing and not enough time to do the racing justice....I will post a bet or lay or 2 on here but will give reasons for them when the time is right. |
