A complete idiot ,,, that ride was pathetic , a ride like that can never be justified , must have been ridden to lose

Not according to the racing genius and guru Anthony Ennis, defending that ride really is overstepping the mark Anthony, better to say nothing than putting forward a totally implausible excuse that even Stevie Wonder would question...!

I can remember Ennis defending somebody riding a horse on the AW at Lingfield.
Said he couldnt see what else the jockey could do.
It was thefirst time Ive ever contacted the BHA to complain about a ride in 30 years.
Jockey got a 3 month ban and I dont think hes had another ride since.
Hes a typical arrse lickin prik.

Haven't seen either the winner or the earlier ride, but this lad looks good value for his claim in general. Certainly one of the better claiming riders out there.
One thing I will agree with is that Tony Ennis will never ever criticise any ride or anyone in racing for that matter.

it was a poor misjudged ride but i would say if you watch all the horses runs, it probably should have won more than it has. he is learning his trade and imo its a bit early to throw the toys out the pram with him.

Just watched this myself this morning, thought he would pull out sooner to make his challenge,but seem to remember him riding a similar  race on the same horse and been lauded for it,there's no pleasing some people.He seemed to redeem himself later on in the evening,lets not forget he's riding for one of the greatest hold up riders of recent times.
