ABSOLUTELY SPOT ON!

SO WE ARE LED TO BELIEVE THAT THE COURTYARD SEVEN,DESPITE ALL THIS BOLLOCKS THAT THEY "WERNT BOTHERED EITHER WAY" FLATLY REFUSED TO HAND BACK THE COURTYARD PITCHES ,WHICH POSSIBLY MIGHT OF RESOLVED THIS SITUATION.I CAN ONLY PRAY THAT THIS WILL COME BACK TO HAUNT THE GREEDY ----- AND WHEN THE INEVITABLE HAPPENS AND THE JOCKEY CLUB TURN ON THEM (WHICH THEY WILL) DONT BE SURPRISED TO SEE THE NORTHERN AND THE FRB FIGHTING AND FINANCING THE NEXT COURT BATTLE IN THEIR DEFENCE
![]() ![]() YOU REALLY COULDNT MAKE THIS STUFF UP! |

By:
Dream on Fact. If any good is to come out of this flawed scenario in the form of significant change then for 'change' read 'improvement' otherwise the future does not bode well.

ENGLISH PLEASE ????????????

FRB,WINTER IS COMING!

IT APPEARS THAT A MEETING IS TO BE ARRANGED IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS FOR ONCOURSE BOOKMAKERS TO ATTEND, REGARDING THE COURTYARD CASE AND SUBSEQUENT CAPITULATION OF THE FRB. FIRSTLY IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT KJ AND RG (LETS HOPE NO MORE HOLIDAYS ARE BOOKED) AS THE FRB REPRESENTATIVES ATTEND ,AND EXPLAIN TO THE RANK AND FILE HOW THIS DECISION WAS REACHED,ALSO THE SOLICITORS INVOLVED ARE THERE TO CONFIRM OR DENY THAT THE FRB "WERE ADVISED TO SETTLE" AND HOW THIS U TURN CAME ABOUT DESPITE HUGE EXPENDITURE AND PREVIOUS ADVICE THAT WE ALMOST UNDOUBTEDLY WIN THE CASE.ALL THE PEOPLE CONCERNED IN THIS DECISION HAVE A MORAL OBLIGATION TO THEIR MEMBERS AND IM SURE THEY WILL BE EAGER TO EXPLAIN AND SHED LIGHT ON CURRENT SITUATION.

By:
IM SURE IT WILL BE RAMMED
![]() |
By:
might have to get the scrum machine from off the training ground
By:
Dewsbury ? You cant get more central than that !!

By:
NOT TO BE MIXED UP WITH THE SCUM MACHINE,USED TO CLEAN THE COURTYARD

DEWSBURY,RUGBY LEAGUE GROUND TOMORROW, TUESDAY 8TH AUG 11AM,SHOULD BE ENTERTAINING!

By:
KJ was seen at lego land near windsor today.
By:
probably building his case as we speak
By:
Factmachine are you a very angry person? (Seek mental health therapy before it is too late).
All your posts are in CAPITALS - that means you are SHOUTING! Why don't you retire to a sunnier clime rather than give a **** about on course bookmakers who no longer make a market and don't take any bets anyway. The sooner the government take the tote back from BETFRED and ban all on course bookmakers, the better for everyone. Comrade Corbyn is on the case. |
By:
ALL MY POSTS ARE INDEED IN CAPITALS (YOUR VERY OBSERVANT) BUT THE ONLY SHOUTING I DO IS ON THE RACECOURSE,USUALLY WHEN BIGGER THAN THE MACHINE(NO COMMISSION,NO PREMIUM CHARGE),AS FOR THE TOTE I DIDNT REALIZE ANYONE USED IT ANYMORE,THERE ARE VERY FEW ONCOURSE BOOKMAKERS LEFT MY FRIEND,MORE THAN 70% OF THE PEOPLE MASQUERADING AS BOOKMAKERS ARE COMMISSION AGENTS,THE DAY WE LOSE ALL ONCOURSE BOOKMAKERS THE GAME IS WELL AND TRUELY FOOKED!

Will minutes be taken of tomorrow's meeting ? If not why not ?
By:
Don't really see any point in attending tomorrow. What's done is done and those that are in the prime positions will always benefit from any "negotiations", "contracts", "new areas" etc, and the back line books will always end up with the **** end of the stick. I think I'll stay at home and save myself any annoyance of listening how I've probably been shafted again and I won't have to waste any diesel driving to Dewsbury.
By:
YOUVEGOTITWO,YOUR QUITE RIGHT IN YOUR SUMMARY OF WHATS GONE ON,BUT FOR SOME OF US WE WOULD JUST LIKE TO HEAR FROM THE ONES WHO HAVE SHAFTED US (WHICH THEY HAVE) HOW THEY JUSTIFY WHAT THEY HAVE DONE!
By:
youvegotittwo,
yes you are on the right track but with that attitude that's how you will always have it..get yourself there and listen to all sides |
By:
Sorry Adge. I have brought up a number of things that are impacting back line books and its just a case of "nothing ever happens, nothing happens at all, the needle returns to the start of the song and we all sing along like before" (to quote lines from a Del Amitri song)
By:
i've never heard of del amitri , i hope i haven't missed out.
apart from mark sawyer donating an excellent free lunch for all we were met with all key answers to questions being subject to a JCR gagging order...so actually you didn't miss much...at least we were not out in the rain. |
By:
Mark Sawyer has always been a generous chap, especially where food is concerned,I hope you had a couple of beers as well adge
By:
dry train only today
By:
So your assessment of the meeting adge was ? Was your journey and attendance worthwhile ?
By:
the meeting lasted for in excess of three hours , democrat , including a lunch break.
part of the "settlement" was that detail is confidential to the two named bookmakers on the court case so we could not be told much detail. was the meeting worthwhile ?..i'll let others give their thoughts. |
By:
SHOCK CONCLUSION,A NEW BODY NEEDS/MUST BE FORMED TO REPRESENT ALL ONCOURSE BOOKMAKERS,CURRENT ASSOCIATIONS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE AND THE RACECOURSES KNOW IT!
By:
Agree with your sentiments Facts. We should be under one umbrella so to speak.I believe a lot of our problems were caused in the negotiations pre 2012 with what appears far too much self interest
By:
Tantamount adge to invoking the fifth amendment then ? Not a satisfactory outcome for the rank and file who deserve better are left with pessimism regarding the future.
By:
All agreed we needed one voice - but as there is very little confidence in the FRB it can't be them so there was a strong push for a new association from pretty much all attendees apart from RG.
By:
That's the end of that then dsf !
By:
RG will still be there as leader of the rails association but as said the FRB seem well past their sell by date
By:
How many attended the meeting adge ?
By:
And did the OP attend and address everyone in a very loud voice ?
By:
about 65 bookmakers , democrat .yes the opening poster was present , the meeting was in good order with no shouting...and i should add that mark sawyer , the dewsbury rugby league club chairman provided an excellent lunch for everyone at his expense and deserves credit
By:
ADGE,YOUVE OBVIOUSLY FORGOT THE CONFIDENTIALITY CLAUSE YOU WERE MADE TO SIGN REGARDING ANY COMMENTS ON THE FOOD SERVED AT THE RAM STADIUM,ONCE AGAIN YOU HAVE LEFT YOURSELF OPEN TO SLANDER ALLEGATIONS AND WOULD BE ADVISED TO REMOVE YOUR LAST POST,OTHERWISE YOU MIGHT BE HEARING THE LAST POST
![]() ![]() ![]() |
By:
REDROB,I WISH RG HAD ADDRESSED EVERYONE IN A LOUD VOICE,YOU COULD HEAR A PIN DROP IN BETWEEN THE MUMBLING AND FITS OF COUGHING!
