24 doubles, 32 trebles, 16 4folds, 8 singles

Singles = 4 x 2
Doubles = 6 x 4
Trebs = 4 x 8
Acca = 1 x 16

15 bets in a lucky 15 so surely a number that is divisible by 15 ?

11 bets in a yankee, in a permed yankee with 2 selections in each race, its 72 bets . Not divisible by 11 .

16 L15s looks like to me.

If you did 15 4-race accas, and wanted 2 horses in every race, that would be 240 bets.

that's what I think 16 different lucky 15s.
By:
ged
When: 08 Jun 17 13:52
But you said "put them in a Lucky 15". that's ONE Lucky 15, not 16 Lucky 15s.

REDROB

ok penzance, lets say you choose 4 races with 2 selections in the first, and only one in each of the others. That would not be 2 Lucky 15's, because if it was you would be having the doubles and treble on the last 3 races twice. but in a permed L15 it would only be an extra 3 doubles, an extra 3 trebles , an extra 4fold and an extra single, making a total of 23 bets.

If you want 16 Lucky 15s, what you are doing is loading up the small bets (for instance, you'll have 8 singles on each horse).

think he means 2 rnrs in each leg.

When: 08 Jun 17 13:56
I'm positive he does.

When: 08 Jun 17 13:58
yeah 2 runners in each race 4 different races.
By:
REDROB
When: 08 Jun 17 13:58
yes of course that's what he meant, but you are duplicating bets. Try it write 16 lucky 15's out, and see how many bets are duplicated.
By:

When: 08 Jun 17 13:59
So how many singles do you want on each horse, 1, or 8?
By:
REDROB
When: 08 Jun 17 14:01
or if you are insisting its 240 bets. Let me take them and I'll only charge ya for 200 bets Laugh
By:
penzance
When: 08 Jun 17 14:01
you have 2 rnrs 1st leg
1 in the next 3 thats 2 L15s.

Penzance, using the 2 in one leg and one selection in 3 legs. If the first leg produces no winner, with your thinking you are then left with 2 patents, when in fact you only wanted one patent.
By:
REDROB
When: 08 Jun 17 14:12
hence saving 7 bets, meaning a total of 23 bets and not 30.
By:
penzance
When: 08 Jun 17 14:16
not if I wanted 2 L15s,

In that case the OP's question is not valid, or he would have asked how many bets in 16 lucky 15's, which was not the question.
By:
penzance
When: 08 Jun 17 14:29
2 selections per race lucky 15s.
16 of 'em
By:

Did he ask how much would 16 Lucky 15's cost, I think not.

because he did'nt know,that's
what he was asking,I think.
By:

of course he knew what 16 identical bets would cost, but he didnt know how much a permed bet would cost. he wants to perm them.
