Sorry to disappoint you Fact but its no big deal to me,ended up with the pitch by accident and always realised it might not be a pitch  forever and as I would vote against replenshiment if it was applied everywhere so would be more than happy to sacrifice the pitch as i'm sure your friends and Lancashire colleagues further down the line would also?

FAR FROM DISAPPOINTED RIBERO, AS YOU SAY IT IS ALSO NO BIG DEAL FOR ME EITHER IN FACT WITHOUT DOUBT BENEFICIAL,BUT JUST FOR ONCE WOULDNT IT BE NICE TO SEE THE NAUGHTY COURTYARD MOB GETTING SOME OF WHAT YOU TRIED TO DISH OUT TO OTHERS,CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG BUT IMO YOU CANT WIN WHATEVER HAPPENS?

Ribero,

Could or would you, with the gift of hindsight withdraw from your Courtyard arrangements with JCR ?

LaughAT A SECRET MEETING BETWEEN THE DIRECTORS OF THE FORMER NORTHERN BPA AND RIBERO, THE LOCATION (A PUB NEAR WETHERBY),A SOURCE WOULD LATER DISCLOSE THAT VERY LITTLE WAS DISCUSSED OVER THE SOUND OF CHERS EIGHTIES CLASSIC IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME BEING PLAYED 50 TIMES IN SUCCESSION!LaughLaughLaughLaughLaughLaughShocked

Crikey! ok,not really something to discuss on here I guess but i'm more than happy with my arrangements with JCR.
I like many more took the opportunity to buy in in 98/99 and seen many things happen which I disagreed with yet this seems to have some peoples knickers in a right twist, its a shame our money wasn't used to fight boards on rails and the use of exchanges on course which have had a massive effect on our business but hey ho we are we are and am happy to get on with things.
I'm not getting in an argument and obviously plenty disagree with me so no problem but when I was approached to buy  the pitch I certainly didn't jump at the chance as even though its Cheltenham its national hunt which I've cut down to a minimum and as I bet at Donny close to home it clashed all the time (I've actually never myself bet in the pitch yet) and I considered it over priced to boot, but having learnt a few things about what was going off and as I disagree strongly with how the FRB is run I decided to buy it and have absolutely no idea how the court case will go and am certainly not going to worry about it either so good luck everyone and its goodnight from me.

Ribero - Whilst the loss of thousands of pounds may be 'no big deal' to you....it certainly would be to many others....something you and any other organisation/individual would do well to bear in mind.

Dave367 - Hindsight may indeed be a wonderful thing....but in this instance, it was FORESIGHT that was sadly lacking amongst our courtyard 'colleagues'.

Fact - 'If I could turn back time'....a song on loop in every plastic surgery in the world !!!!!!

Ribero - Agree 100% regarding boards on rails and exchanges...and probably many other things to do with on-course bookmaking....but amazed at your indifference to the courtyard result... the law of 'unintended consequences' already appears to be playing out...looking at the Aintree list, one bookmaker may lose his three pitches as a direct result of YOUR position on the the Courtyard....are you indifferent to that ???
By:

Self interest is rife whenever pitches are discussed. Whichever way the courtyard case goes a precedent will be set which will be detrimental to future bookmaker/racecourse relations. It is inconceivable that the original draft of 'the contract would be everlasting and without anomalies.

ALL THE ONCOURSE BOOKMAKING ORGANISATIONS ARE AND HAVE BEEN RUN WITH SELF INTEREST,THE SWAMP NEEDS TO BE DRAINED!
By:

When: 09 May 17 15:24
Mug,despite what some on here are saying it is only speculation at this moment in time, presumably these pitches at Aintree were out of the number before these areas came in and like myself with the rails (hence why it was relatively cheap) the pitch holder must have always felt a degree of uncertainty?
By:

RIBERO, ALL PITCH HOLDERS HAVE A "DEGREE OF UNCERTAINTY" THANKS TO YOUR GOOD SELFS,WE ARE AT WAR WITH THE JC YET YOU,THE COURTYARD MOB AND THE NORTHERN SEEM OBLIVIOUS TO WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!

going back to why this thread was originally posted all contact holders who at any time are unsatisfied by how their due payments are handled / paid [ whoever with ] can change their provider at any time by filling in a simple form. everyone will not be aware of that. [ unfortunately though  , not with the earlier turf tv contracts ]
