Can anyone remember the hurdler who used to carry his head so slow to the ground, the lowest head carriage i've ever seen on a racehorse was in the mid 90's the jockeys silks i'm sure were all green thought it was dancing paddy but looked at races on you tube and his head carriage was normal.
What was that one of Mary Reveley's who used to carry its head low to the ground - quite a well known one - Cab On Target , maybe it was a different one, sure there was an S in there somewhere, I forget

Not Dancing Paddy - I was a follower of his as he was my first ever winner after I started full time punting, at Fontwell in January 1992. Here's a link to the 1992 Triumph Hurdle, in which he leads early on:

Tallywager: I lumped on Cab On Target in a two horse against Barton Bank on day.
Got murdered
Remember it well! I lumped on Barton Bank at 10/11, would have been a good 3 horse race but Young Hustler was a non runner. Cab on Target was a big talking horse at the time, clearly Big Mac was on it as his face glowed red after the race with rage and he called him Crab Off Target
Happy Days

There was one that ran in a few of those Ascot two-and-a-half-mile chases, can't remember its name, Christ knows how it even saw the fences it had to jump.

seem to remember some of rimmels old chasers having a low head carriage ,maybe its something to do with the old jumping, homedred stock etc, dont alot of mcaires in france have a low head carriage remember seeing a film of his training methods where he used to weigh the horses head down when cantering
