Deposited the usual £1,000 in my account to use purely for laying -starting Tuesday .
Everything went wrong on Day ! and the balance was down to £338. On Day 2 my luck changed . A horse that looked a certainty with one to go got beaten . My lay on it would have left a balance of only £16.
Day 3 and 4 everything went right including a last minute decision to BACK Sizing John .
So have just transferred £1069 back into my current account .
Its a big relief as at one stage the whole £1,000 looked lost .
Funny old game this one .
After 55 years of punting I am still surprised at how much LUCK plays such a big part -almost at every turn .
Have others on here turned things round this Festival in similar fashion ?

good 3 days then bad last day
Monalee was a sickner for me today, joint biggest bet of the week on it at 9s, all 3 of my biggest bets got beat, the other 2 never looked like winning
