He did give the mare a fine ride.
For some reason the horse decided not to jump the final hurdle. |
|
By:
It didn't jump the last imo as horse & jockey weren't on the same page as he'd slapped it asking it to quicken so it met the last on the wrong stride when if he hadn't been whipping & getting the horse into the correct stride it would've jumped and while she'd have been a length or 2 down at least then she'd have a chance to finish her race off instead of leaving it on the deck.

She just clipped the top of it which threw off her balance, more bad luck than anything imo, horses will stand up after far worse mistakes. She's tiny of course which probably doesn't help.

Wouldn't have won. Winner has found plenty to the line. Slow pace would not have suited and if it wasn't obvious beforehand he can now only be heading in one direction - Albert Bartlett.

I think she might have won if she'd stayed on her feet ,but who knows.

I believe what I see and as I said before, DD is a hard horse to pass and actually pulled away going to the line...
I think DD would have worried AK out of it..just my opinion though.. |

What are you talking about? On course reporter thought Walsh would have won. Quite capable of making up my own mind.

Pish poor jockey, be lucky to get a ride a week at any other stable, has a nasty nasty habit of grounding them at last obstacle

Dont know if DD would've held on, but its good to see the Ruby last flight threads back again. Feels like an age since the last batch even though he falls at the last apparently every racing day of the week.

As I said yesterday whoever's on board all the Mullins' fallers seem to either collapse over a hurdle or stumble on landing. Never seem to run through the hurdle and fall. Don't know if this is down to the way they're schooled or just a big coincidence.

the know all's on here must have made a fortune on here ,laying Ruby for a place ,they seemed to know it was bound to end up on the floor !
|

By:
name anyone who claimed to know he'd end up falling on any 1 horse today please, Ta.

By:
It was weird the way he was whipping it on the neck in the run to the last. He succeeded in unbalancing the horse. He's alright posing out front but not a guy you want in a battle.

You'd struggle to see a bigger collection of idiots all in one place.

She had to be whipped to straighten her. Did nobody see her jink, possibly more than once, coming towards the last? I was on her heavy each way but no way could I blame the jockey on this occasion

Some of you say that Ruby laughs at some of the people on here. Most on here laugh at some of the people on here. Ye should try knitting or something like that.
