She goes there's no special prices on the golf, without even bothering to look (what did she mean by "special" prices anyway?)
I then (rather irritated by this point) asked her to ring up and find out a price
she then rang up and was eventually told to check on the screen again by someone in head office
then she managed to find the relevant market

Many years ago I wanted a bet on George McNeill in the then Coral sponsored Powderhall Sprint. Phoned them and they were not taking bets on it.

Some time back watched a porkie eat donna and chips and the trimmings on the counter and burp didn't wait for her to fart thought that's it. That's your modern day betting office for you. Should add one of the dandies in the betting office went out to collect takeaways for everybody including staff. Bootifull.
