After deciding to hold onto it for so long (nothing wrong with that) he should have held onto him for as long as possible imo....

He gave it a good ride; simply out of gas last 50 yards or so - only a fool would suggest he was poor on that

Anyone believing he didn't stay needs to give their head a wobble, front two came clear from the last. It came down to a battle - horse not helping the jock and vice-versa.

Does anyone believe Davy Russell would have been beaten on it?

I don't know.  Can Davy make horses stay that don't?

Could of kicked on before the last

Really?

if anything it might be better to wait even longer, the earlier he goes there the sooner it throws in the towel imo.

horses recent runs do not suggest it is an ewasy conveyance or gives it the full effort

May not have won anyway but it's never great imo when they go from lobbing along to full on panic mode with no in between. More likely to encourage the horse curl up, rather than run on.

And there he does it again, got the horse in the race 1f out then goes behind a wall of horses, cost it the race.

Totally agree Cider but then Henderson has never really known what a jockey looks like since the Dunwoody days. Happy New Year Cider.

there are some jockeys suited to bridle horses. Jacob isn't one of them.

I have not seen him get one home you felt in running was beaten. For me, on two occasions the best horse finished second.

Those who can't see wrong must be layers of him. Clever, I've been fishedExcited

I thought Brennan was riding a stinker by keeping the Fav wide all the way around, while Jacob had his horse beautifully switched off.
