If they are prepared to race when no one can see what is going on then I can't believe a tiny amount of frost in the ground will be an issue.

been frosty in Manc for days, not thawed all day today...far from a 1 in 100-shot that when England has frost, Scotland be frost-free, biscar...miles out

BBC weather have Haydock as being warmer at midnight, and all through the night, than at 4pm this afternoon.

Can't believe he would have abandoned today given the forecast.

Was just trying to save himself the job of inspecting early in the morning probably.

Getting warmer here - not too far away-it`s ok in our back garden frost abating.

Did they have the covers down like Donny yesterday? Thought they would have been fine if they had.

not sure how much they tried to get this meeting on,a small independent course like catterick did its very best to race on wednesday but got no luck with the fog but at least they tried,jcr track haydock appears not to have tried to hard,i may off course be wrong.

They didn't cover the course after negative experiences with covers in the past apparently :O

never far from controversy is haydock

by a distance the worst run race course in the country in every department.

Kirkland confident the unexpected snow will have melted by 1:30pm and that racing will still take place.
