seen this in the past, they put a camera in a car in order to provide some pictures from the back straight when the pea soup comes in.
Great effort, over here we'd be watching pictures of the final flight with thommo taking the pi55 in the background.

a few years back in similar circumstances the ambulance driver gave delivered the commentary
much superior to scarhill

It was Thurles were they first did this , I was there today and thought it should have been called off.
The pictures were that much better at Thurles but fully agree something better than nothing.
Personally, I prefer the side-on shots as you get an impression of speed and whether they are meeting one on a stride.
Nice one EOE but I don't think anyone would want to commentate on a day like today.

Brilliant - gives a real 'feel' for the speed they travel over the obstacles - should be incorporated into 'normal' coverage.
