The whole point of BF is to be on things like this/trade
By:
It will take them 3 days to sort this out
By:
This whole thing is a bit of a shambles.
Will just even out positions, if Betfair can be bothered to open it. |

Why isn't the ****g market open? ============================== coz betfair is a clueless company who doesn't know how to operate their exchange properly.... coz they don't give a to$$.... that's why. |
By:
if it gets demoted to 3rd could the 2nd then object to the winner,

By:
dead heat both should get the boot
By:
Open up goddamit!!!
By:
not sure what price it would have been as we all seem to have same opinion....but an absolute disgrace to suspend
By:
Been a dead heat each of past 3 days.
By:
How does my bill hill first past post stand? As I did without fav should it be any different?
By:
Think that reversal is a bit harsh.
3 tired baby novices rolling in on each other on a crooked run-in |
By:
photo market would have been interesting enough, let alone the stewards
potential for some big price swings in those rare cases |
By:
didnt see this market, surely the photo was opened? around £50k has been matched at 1.15 on 147
By:
Agree poppy, but i suppose they had to change the result.
By:
Can someone please pass Darlene Jacobs a pamper..
TIA |
By:
photo was opened,yes
By:
Got paid out billies 147 without fav, half stake at least something! Would have lost on betfair!
By:
cracking find 1st
By:
yep I know, I meant cases where market is opened because of a photo but in which there's also potential for a stewards...great markets

"We weren't able to offer stewards enquiry betting this time round because we just weren't. Kind regards."
By:
Absolutely dreadful decision, never had a penny on the race but to penalise the second and particularly criticise the jockey for trying win the race just disgraceful. Standard of stewarding in this country woeful!
By:
Photo was opened a little later than normal
147 was about 1.18 - spent about 4 mins, drifting to 1.7, then a sudden jump to 2.1 Suspended Never re-opened for St. Inquiry. Whole thing was a dragging 15-20 mins |
By:
Market still not settled - all my tied up in the race and can't bet!
By:
Also I think the new winner (in the middle) was the main culprit of the 3rd's demise,
which was a far more serious incident |
By:
the sudden jump included some real lumps of money..15K at evens amongst them
By:
Betfair must have paid out when it shouldn't have!
By:
Betfair really messed this race up , still not settled
By:
Haven't paid me yet.
By:
cracking wins 50/1
By:
A Stewards Inquiry was about 90-99% certain given the finish and the bumping so I've no idea why they would suspend/pay out so quickly. They have confused big problems for all punters and cost themselves money too!

A lot of the blame lies with the stewards for not declaring FPTP before calling an enquiry. Once you knew it was a DH, it was extremely likely that they'd revise the result. But we weren't told that until long after the enquiry had been called.
