After several poor seasons he, like Donald McCain, seems to have rediscovered his mojo and is winning plenty of bad races with very well handicapped bad horses.
Wonder if Dadsintrouble (3.20) or Satellite (5.40) will get him off the Cheltenham cold list on Friday?
To be on the 'cold list at Cheltenham' would imply he's at some point been on the 'hot list'.
Having yet to saddle a winner there, he's yet to make the list, hot, cold or tepid.

One Nation - with the greatest of respect, being on a hot streak is no prerequisite for subsequently finding yourself on a cold list. Some trainers (and jockeys) are cloaked in perma frost as far as Cheltenham is concerned.

One Nation - Didn't make any selections and as a general rule don't back Tim Vaughan's runners. Merely posed a question about two horses that appear to have a better chance of breaking Vaughan's long losing sequence than most of the 79 - or 137 as advised by swift-tuttle - runners that are responsible for such a risible performance.

Cash is King I quite fancy Satellite myself. Rated about 90 on flat at his best arguably he may have quite a bit in hand off 117 today over hurdles. He did not impress last time out in a muddling race but I liked him when I saw him win earlier in his career at Chepstow. He has a decent attitude and I think he will appreciate a strong pace which he may well get in this conditionals race. He has drifted significantly from 13/2 or so last evening which is not ideal but has been backed a little in last few hours. Given the trainers recent form - 12 winners in last month, with a decent conditional booked who is 1 from 1 for Vaughan, I think he is worth a punt.
Take care
Fearless
