to me the biggest and most blatant example of cheating in horserace betting

is the manipulation of the starting price system to the disadvantage of the betting shop  punters

if that is not a case of insider trading or even maybe fraud I'll eat hay along side my selections

Market manipulation has gone on for decades.... I know for a fact that a High Street bookies rep; regularly shortens the Fav;up on a Bags morning/afternoon meeting... a monkey will contract the price by a whole point !
