They're too busy stating that the 2nd never had to stop riding....so what!!!, it had to race further than it wanted too ffs...that's inconvenience in my book.

Im not convinced he had to stop riding but by hanging he's prevented the other horse from quickening, then as soon as it gets daylight its closed it down, best horse finished 2nd for me.

If the 2nd had been able to race on his own straight line he would have won.

the head on shows the interference to be far worse that it looked from the side on.

Should be a short one.

I cant see what else Fran Berry couldve done and yet you have the scenario where the horse keeps the race but he gets a ban.

Having seen Steve Drowne in the ATR studio, I should've realised he was never going to out talk Fran Berry.

UK authorities insist on harmonisation of international rules regarding interference and then we have instances of this type when it is blatantly obvious that imo if Silver Link was allowed to run in a straight line it wins and does so cosily and yet stewards allow result to stand. Yet most people seem to wonder why other racing jurisdictions are slow to adopt our rules - give me a break.

I've seen horses chucked for the same this summer. No consistency at all.

neill it is inconsistent, but the stewards that DQ are the ones being inconsistent as far as the rules are concerned.
