Report The Biscuit October 8, 2016 3:09 PM BST
Looks very bad, the horses have been removed from the parade ring as they await an air ambulance.
Report posy October 8, 2016 3:20 PM BST
Just been reading about the incident;it sounds bad. Henry used to ride Bourne for the timeform/betfair racing club...often consider him an under rated jockey.
Report ashleigh October 8, 2016 3:26 PM BST
h brooke still being treated in the ambulance on track.
Report Barton Bank October 8, 2016 3:27 PM BST
He also won on Koup de Kanon for the same owners at Carlisle. This sounds worrying for the lad, hope he's OK.
Report wondersobright October 8, 2016 3:28 PM BST

air ambulance on it`s way, hence the big delay, does`nt look promising but I hope he`s ok,jump jockey are well ard
Report RozelKid October 8, 2016 3:52 PM BST
If his life is in danger , i.e touch and go - then maybe they should cancel the rest of the races.
Report ER WHAT HAPPENED THERE October 8, 2016 3:57 PM BST
Please dont over emphasise the Air Ambulance coming as being an indication of a severity of an injury (Not saying its not bad)

Once had an Air Ambulance for a under 14s Football game where the lad had sprained his ankle. Its all down to resources.

After all that, lets all hope hes ok
Report themightymac October 8, 2016 4:01 PM BST
Yes. Henry's health more important than racing. Hope he is ok.
Report batman50 October 8, 2016 4:03 PM BST
Don't think they will have time to run remaining five races.
Light will fade fast at six.
Report monarch October 8, 2016 4:04 PM BST
Fingers crossed all ok.
Report MC Roller October 8, 2016 4:04 PM BST
I posted just the other day about how brave jockeys are. Their life can be changed in an instant. I'm full of admiration for them.

That kick was as bad as it gets, it was sickening. Sad
Report wondersobright October 8, 2016 4:05 PM BST
I doubt that is a sprained ankle looking at that scene at hexham Sad
Report wondersobright October 8, 2016 4:06 PM BST
he isn't a lad that milks a bit of an injury Sadv worrying
Report ER WHAT HAPPENED THERE October 8, 2016 4:07 PM BST
Are you pissed?

I solely said that the Air Ambulance can be sent to any incident and the fact its called doe not solely indicate any severity of the injury!
Report ER WHAT HAPPENED THERE October 8, 2016 4:08 PM BST
And obviously hope he is Ok
Report jimeen October 8, 2016 4:14 PM BST
What kind of an idiot thinks that a jockey with a sprained ankle is going to be airlifted to hospital.
It is crystal clear that the jockey is in a bad way.
Report tomhunt October 8, 2016 4:20 PM BST
he is just stipulating that the range of injury can vary...people think automatically it's life or death when air ambulance is called....not hard to understand...hope it is mostly just precaution
Report roida October 8, 2016 4:20 PM BST
helicopter been on track for 40 mins but he is still on grass behind screens
Report EVILROYSLADE October 8, 2016 4:24 PM BST
Grand lad. Hope to God he is not too bad.

Report Tutter October 8, 2016 4:44 PM BST
Sunset time locally 18:26
Report RozelKid October 8, 2016 4:48 PM BST
cant see it my self- think the last 2 races , and most likely the last , will be cancelled.
Report tomhunt October 8, 2016 4:57 PM BST
Armstrong has no update on Henry Brooke's condition, but says he is "stable and will be taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle by air ambulance."
Armstrong added that it should be possible to complete the rest of the card, with the sun set to go down around 7pm.

Mr Armstrong need informing that at 7 o'clock it will be dark in Hexham.
