By:
ok thank you
By:
Looks very bad, the horses have been removed from the parade ring as they await an air ambulance.
By:
Just been reading about the incident;it sounds bad. Henry used to ride Bourne for the timeform/betfair racing club...often consider him an under rated jockey.
By:
h brooke still being treated in the ambulance on track.
By:
He also won on Koup de Kanon for the same owners at Carlisle. This sounds worrying for the lad, hope he's OK.
By:
hopefully air ambulance not needed
wow what a b@stard of a day |
By:
fingers crossed he is ok

Doesn't sound good. Best wishes to Henry.

shows how tough a game this is for all the jocks lets all hope henry is ok
By:
nope air ambulance is needed feel sick |
By:
air ambulance on it`s way, hence the big delay, does`nt look promising but I hope he`s ok,jump jockey are well ard
By:
If his life is in danger , i.e touch and go - then maybe they should cancel the rest of the races.
By:
Please dont over emphasise the Air Ambulance coming as being an indication of a severity of an injury (Not saying its not bad)
Once had an Air Ambulance for a under 14s Football game where the lad had sprained his ankle. Its all down to resources. After all that, lets all hope hes ok |
By:
Yes. Henry's health more important than racing. Hope he is ok.
By:
Don't think they will have time to run remaining five races.
Light will fade fast at six. |
By:
Fingers crossed all ok.
By:
I posted just the other day about how brave jockeys are. Their life can be changed in an instant. I'm full of admiration for them.
That kick was as bad as it gets, it was sickening. ![]() |
By:
I doubt that is a sprained ankle looking at that scene at hexham
![]() |
By:
he isn't a lad that milks a bit of an injury
v worrying |
By:
Are you pissed?
I solely said that the Air Ambulance can be sent to any incident and the fact its called doe not solely indicate any severity of the injury! |
By:
And obviously hope he is Ok
By:
What kind of an idiot thinks that a jockey with a sprained ankle is going to be airlifted to hospital.
It is crystal clear that the jockey is in a bad way. |
By:
he is just stipulating that the range of injury can vary...people think automatically it's life or death when air ambulance is called....not hard to understand...hope it is mostly just precaution
By:
helicopter been on track for 40 mins but he is still on grass behind screens
By:
Grand lad. Hope to God he is not too bad.
By:
surely got to cancel the meeting, have they announced anything?
By:
Big worry after the JT accident....sickener...fingers crossed
By:
helicopter just left...racing resumes soon as medics back in situ.
By:
it will be bad light before the last race , wont it ?
By:
run ev 25mins shud get em in
By:
They will do well to run the whole card.
By:
Sunset time locally 18:26
By:
cant see it my self- think the last 2 races , and most likely the last , will be cancelled.
By:
Armstrong has no update on Henry Brooke's condition, but says he is "stable and will be taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle by air ambulance."
Armstrong added that it should be possible to complete the rest of the card, with the sun set to go down around 7pm. By Ben Hutton, live from Hexham 1 hour ago |
By:
Mr Armstrong need informing that at 7 o'clock it will be dark in Hexham.
By:
4 races at 25 mins takes us to about 18.30 so think he sayed that
By:
Good job it's not Sandown
