i backed basem before the race but never felt the race was won and cant believe it hit 1.01 just mindboggling

So did I .

Truly but had a lay in @ 1.02

Taylor had put up Daily Bulletin which his following sent  Basem to a bankable 9/4 which IMHO was way to big for the top rated horse with alot in its favour.
But it got nailed and no complaints here as that happens.

It also fell out of the gate so forgive that run .

Probably needs to be loaded last to be seen to best effect .But I would be sure they will be aware of that next start as you can require that.
