Well Eddie I imagine it is very convenient trading decision for them to make given the difference in the payouts. No manager or trader would speak to me when I asked about it again very convenient but looks like it is an industry rip off going on here.

I'm aware of that hal, but any member of staff should be able to locate that message if asked by a customer.

Saddo I have experienced some shop staff look at me like I have 2 heads when asking for a price on a horse without the fav in the morning. Ineptitude is rife with shop staff.

Mr Phantom -I would seriously consider going to the Gardai or objecting to their shop licence. They have short changed you in the belief that you will go away quietly.

If ronnie rails works for Coral, and he has accurately quoted an email sent to shop staff, ( I've no reason to doubt it ) then I'd happily take this case up for you Iceman.

A well-worded email will result in payment at the PMU divdend of 10.60

I would like to thank everyone for their input into this thread and particularly ronnie and paul.  I will be visiting the coral shop tomorrow morning and hopefully they will have the same cashier or someone who knows the time of day working at the time.  Armed with ronnies info i hope to get some satisfaction resolving the matter.  Failing that i will look to take up pauls kind offer.  I will post again tomorrow after returning from the shop.

Just to let you all know I got paid the extra money for taking the pmu price today and received an apology from the shop manager.  She did not work sunday and phoned the shop from home to advise the staff how to settle the bet.  But they still managed to get it wrong.

tbf to Coral, I think the reported PMU price was misquoted, I know Sporting Life had the UK tote price showing (6.40) instead of the correct (10.60) PMU price after the race, yet all the other Chantilly races were correct payouts showing for PMU, just the Arc was given out wrong

DCash out is designed so that you close your position and can take no further profit nor suffer any further loss. Not so - I cashed out before the start of the Masters which settled all my bets - I had layed the field up to 100s and was going to lay the rest in-play as they shortened up but decided to cash out and take a £25 profit. That should have been it - cashed out - no further profit/no further loss. Johnson pulls out and even though I have thought that I've protected my liability by cashing out, the bets on him are voided and I am suddenly £326 down. I have no prospect of recovering my position as all other bets are settled and I cannot lay as others shorten up in-play. I didn't make the rules up, betfair did. If they were not prepared to put me back to my pre-cash out position they should not allow cash-out prior to in-play. I know the rules, read them and am very familiar with how betfair works. I could understand if I hadn't cashed out and it has happened to me before and I've taken the hit but this is them not understanding the impact of their own rules and not being prepared to take responsibility- like all the betting sites they are ok while they are taking your cash - they never stand up and take the hit. Hope others understand it enough to agree. Get it sorted BF and put me back to my pre-cash out or cancel all my bets on this event - cash out means cash out!! Can you help or advise. You can text me on: 07903754970.

DJ was a non runner, so any bets layed on him you have to refund and any bets you bet on him get refunded.

Has always been tis way on the golf.

I think cash out on the exchange is just a system to lay  and back runners in the market at the prices available.

So lots of individual bets to get the cash out amount.

But then you are still liable for the non runner.
