roida - different ball game. There was a slight chance FPTP should have been disqualified. In my view I would have chucked it out (Reason for laying) but as stated previous we know how the stewards operate in GB

Well that aint guaranteed now , is it.
No interest today but the cucumber sarnie eaters have phucked it right up now, and i can tell you one person who will never bet in a SE again. |

Today's decision has put a different perspective in the SE's going forward

The biggest effect of intereference on a result yesterday was El Astronaute. I benefitted from a place only on Humidor who finished second but the interference meant that Hey Chewed and Huntsmans Close were denied at least second and third while Hey Chewed might well have won. So bets on at least 4 other runners were affected by the interference by the winner. If they had run straight, the result might well have been Hey Chewed, El Astronaut, Huntsmans close, Humidor. I know that horses don't run in straight lines, but that was an extreme example of a race being affected by illegal riding.

The betting on the outcome of this stewards enquiry was remarkable.
The eventual winner was being laid at around 30 - 40 midway through the enquiry although obviously the longer it went on it did gradually shorten up. Just b4 the announcement there was a massive move to back it at all rates down to around evens and i can only presume someone got the lot after knowing what the outcome of the enquiry was slightly b4 it became public knowledge. |
