First two races saw horses finishing off well down the middle of the track (albeit against horses who'd eun their races on the inner), so why not just keep it simple and pull him to the outer and get him rolling in good time?

The racing fraternity think Joe public is stupid, day in day out you see a variety of effort from each individual jockey and you can certainly tell when they don't want to win and when the money is down, yet very little is ever done to stop them! They say we don't understand their sport/horses but all the old wives tales are just cover ups for cheating, even cheekpieces is the biggest load of horse S@@t I have ever heard. How come you hardly ever see cheekpieces used on pattern class horses, but hcaps a horse puts a bit of wool down the side of its face and suddenly runs 12lb faster, crock of s&&te!
