Most (I stress most, not all) of people who moan about liquidity expect everyone else to put the money up so they can take it. Try putting your own money up perhaps?
By:
pablo-fanque
When: 14 May 16 20:25
TF , it's not about moaning about taking it .

it's an eco system , some bots are designed to lay multiple horses in-running and guarantee a profit regardless . it just feels to me like someone has turned theirs off. maybe on hols, probably due to PC though

When: 14 May 16 21:00
Although on slow pics, I've done quite well in-running over the last 2/3 years but it is has been getting more difficult in last couple of months and this month has been grotesque. I put it down to changes in bots(don't know what but clearly less and cutting off earlier), slower RUK and a bit of lack of discipline felling the need to take more risks.
I've started cutting back on my in-running until I see some positive changes.

In 5 years or maybe 10 at the most exchange betting on Horse Racing will have died. Pre race, in running, the lot. Apart from the big meetings. Liquidity is dying.
By:
Rob_The_Bantam
When: 14 May 16 21:24
Eventually the winners will eat the losers up until the winners are simply playing against one another, which will result in an impasse.  Betfair claimed that the premium charge would be invested into recruiting new blood to the exchange through advertising etc, meaning that those paying it would have their income prolonged.  It sounded borderline reasonable.

The truth is that they've ploughed the square root of fack all into bringing new (mug) punters in, so players unable to adapt will die.

I wouldn't even dare to put myself on his level.

I suspect you've got a couple more years of doing what you do before the game is up.  All you'll have left is the addicts and they don't have enough brass to provide you (and others doing what you do) with a living, as they'll lose it too quickly to you.

Have you got enough cash to knock this on the head and retire now?  I don't know how old you are, but I'd have another 40 years of work left in a normal job, so I'd be heading back to work if it all died.
