At pains to put people off before the race. While he wasn't to know the horse would go wrong it obviously wasn't fit. And people on here moan about jump racing while here we have a 50k race being used as a fitness gallop. Mr nice guy Gosden eh.

they'll find something, punters up and down the land have done their lot on that and you'd understand them not rushing back if that was purely down to fitness ...

Mr Gosden on AC: "The government and Gambling Commission have failed to distinguish the betting on racing with games of chance such as roulette and online slots. The area they need to target is the gaming and online casino markets, which is on everyone's phone and in everyone's pocket. This is where the worst addictions develop."

I cannot agree more. For instance, the adverts on gaming and online casino markets is on everyone's phone, laptop and tv where the worst addictions develop. I firmly believe the only workable and effective solution is to ban all forms of gaming and casino markets these three electronic devices.

I also think the Gambling Commission (GC) need to ask the bookies why they are being over-zealous and intrusive in applying AC on horseracing punters when only 0.3% of horseracing punters will be affected in their calculation; GC need to clarify themselves because at present the bookies are blaming their over-zealous and intrusive application of AC on the Gambling Commission.
