Got to agree with Chelmsford as worst course. Expensive, remote and dire viewing. It is really something special to position a stand on the wrong side of the track.

Foxy,i fear "the girl who does Thirsk" has got a regular gig at most Yorkshire tracks, she was at ponty yesterday and never shut up with most of it absolute drivel.

£36 in tatts with nowhere to sit other than on a toilet and if your not 14 foot tall the tents in the middle will block your view.you would think ribero somebody would tell her its a winners enclosure not a winning enclosure.

I've only been to Ponty,Thirsk,Doncaster and Ripon so far this season and think she may have been at them all although can't be certain, I presume she is Natalie Kerry as I quite often see a  go racing in Yorkshire jeep with her name on it,i fear we're stuck with her.

Amazed at the stick Worcester is getting. The standard of racing has dropped a little compared to when there were more winter fixtures and some very good novices made their debuts and there were some great 3mile 6 furlong chases.

Fair course with excellent viewing, can think of many worse.

Not actually bad, but the self proclaimed "Newmarket of the North" Thirsk is pretty disappointing. It certainly qualifies as the most up itself,
with ideas way above its station.

I went to Newmarket on a Sandown reciprocal 2 seasons ago on 'Champions' day for the first time.Hopeless viewing and to compound matters the big screen was faulty.I'll never go back.

Went to Windsor for the first time since 1984 last season, again on a freebie. It's the only track that I've been to where they charge a deposit on a pint pot.Hopeless viewing.I'll never go there again, either.

Bangor £20 to get in (£10 course but you freeze to death) Chester Race Company ltd running it into the ground. Standard of racing gone through the floor. Makes Worcester look like Cheltenham.

You freeze everywhere at Bangor-it is possible to be warm-you can pay  the £10 and sit in your car !!!

Ludlow-good view from roof

Goodwood is useless.
Everything overpriced.
Ground always overwatered
Always trouble in running.
Pathetic pre parade where you cannot even see the horses because they put trees in the way. People pay to see horses not trees.

Yes the increase in Sat fixtures has not gone down well with some of the town center shops who report a large drop in trade for others it`s a boom time. The cost of entry is a con but its full every meeting.I have to confess to being sober on the racecourse !!!!
