Like I have said yesterday and been saying for ages,he can't see a stride when it counts, the stride that is the difference between winning and losing. That is at least 2 horses that should have won in the last few days that he has got beat

Paul had hardly any ammunition/stable stars at Cheltenham and Sam put wins on the board for the stable. His riding wasn't too shabby at Ayr with Le Mercury & Vicente standing out. As for SS, the horse jumped like stag up until the last fence...

if Nicholls loses the trainers by 3000 then STD will get some rollicking, just not good enough. He has the ammo but needs 4 great rides to get maybe 2 home, not good enough for a top jock

Don't see how you could blame Sam for Simon Squirrel, horse jumped it fine just knuckled on landing. Probably beat anyway I say that having backed him. Saw a decent enough stride on Vosne Romanee.
