It's not the horses fault, but if he gets beat he wouldn't know or care either, so as it makes precisely no difference to the horses feelings we'll hope it gets beat eh?

If it does win, I suspect it will be met with a muted response in the winner's enclosure. Mullins, Ricci and Walsh should all be ashamed about what's going on, and cheering them on feels off. I hope he comes home safe and sound and in training looks more like a Gold Cup horse next year. Of course, it then will get pulled out 2 days before because Walsh wants to ride Annie Power...
