Absolutely. They keep saying it's a 'team' decision but we all know it's Ruby doing what is best for Ruby. I wish they'd just have the decency to say it. This is what happens when one owner has all the best horses, same with Annie Power two years ago. If Vautour was owned by anyone else (other than Giggy!) then I am sure he would be going for the gold cup regardless of the stamina doubts and it would be a more interesting gold cup as a result.

Will only get worse if they extend to 5 days with more targets available.  Look at this years Arkle, a disgrace of a "race".  Its the championship 2 mile novice chase and all the pundits are saying, "its not a betting race, just watch and enjoy"!

the Arkle only not a betting race cos Douvan is so much better than the rest...it was the same in Arkle himself's day, scaring everything off, nothing to do with Anne Duchess of Westminster having a powerful string!

I never really believed that Ricci would run 2 in the Gold Cup but didn't do anything about it betting wise. I am just annoyed that Vautour runs in the Ryanair when I have backed Al Ferof. At least it gives Cue Card a bit better chance in the GC.

And their 'reasons' are riddled with inconsistencies.... I remember when Mullins pulled Hurricane Fly out of a top race because it wasnt working 100%....he didnt re-route it to a weaker race!

And as for Ricci's lame talk, he wants fc..king by the media for out and out misleading the betting public, Mullins too.

They do this **** every year, and its about time Cheltenham did something re the entry system to put a stop to it.
