The market speaks louder than WIllie or Rich Ricci.
How did Rich make his money?
Head of a division that manipulated markets to fleece the unsuspecting in banking
and looks like hes continuing that trend in racing

Unbelievable Jeff

poor from the connections every word spoken these last 4 weeks or so indicated the gold cup was the target ,it makes my selections job easier in the gold cup but it still leaves a bad taste.

Not ideal, I feel for backers. Been NRNB for quite a while though.

I have to agree, nothing we've heard recently has even suggested the Ryanair was on the agenda. Poor stuff.

Despicable behaviour from Ricci but I suspect Walsh is behind this. No journalists with the guts to pull them up on the disdain with which they have taken people as fools.

You do have to think that Ruby, as always, is calling the shots here. 'Not working' well my @rse, he'll dot up in the Ryanair.

true as regards GC with bookies (presuming you have any accounts still open!)...not true on Betfair and not much comfort for anyone that's backed Al Ferof or anything else in the Ryanair

Have to assume some bookies knew what was going on, I can think of one for sure, Billies.

Absolutely. They keep saying it's a 'team' decision but we all know it's Ruby doing what is best for Ruby. I wish they'd just have the decency to say it. Bloke I know in Boyles told me that they've taken more money for Yorkhill the last month than Min. And now they switched him as well so Ruby can ride both.

never seen willie mullins so uncomfortable as when asked about the switch

Rancid.

And there you have it from Mullins 'Ruby can only ride one of them'

this is my 36th festival and for the first time the race i was looking forward to most was the gold cup, this mornings news is not just bad for many punters its bad for national hunt racing.

good luck everyone.

This is what happens when one owner has all the best horses, same with Annie Power two years ago. If Vautour was owned by anyone else (other than Giggy!) then I am sure he would be going for the gold cup regardless of the stamina doubts and it would be a more interesting gold cup as a result.

Will only get worse if they extend to 5 days with more targets available.  Look at this years Arkle, a disgrace of a "race".  Its the championship 2 mile novice chase and all the pundits are saying, "its not a betting race, just watch and enjoy"!
By:
duncan idaho
When: 15 Mar 16 09:53
the Arkle only not a betting race cos Douvan is so much better than the rest...it was the same in Arkle himself's day, scaring everything off, nothing to do with Anne Duchess of Westminster having a powerful string!

I never really believed that Ricci would run 2 in the Gold Cup but didn't do anything about it betting wise. I am just annoyed that Vautour runs in the Ryanair when I have backed Al Ferof. At least it gives Cue Card a bit better chance in the GC.

if ruby was allowed to ride in the charity race mullins would send a ricci hotpot there, its all about chelt winners for the yard

Its little short of a disgrace in my opinion.

Putting punters away in this shabby way.

And their 'reasons' are riddled with inconsistencies.... I remember when Mullins pulled Hurricane Fly out of a top race because it wasnt working 100%....he didnt re-route it to a weaker race!

And as for Ricci's lame talk, he wants fc..king by the media for out and out misleading the betting public, Mullins too.

They do this **** every year, and its about time Cheltenham did something re the entry system to put a stop to it.

I genuinely hope Djackadam (or whatever its called) gets well turned over on Friday now.

Come on Cue Card!!!!
