A number of reasons why.....
The form of his 2nd to Le Mercury is working out very well!
Out Sam in 3rd won next 2 starts with horse behind that, milansbar winning a handicap yesterday off 137.
Le Mercury ran a cracker in the reynoldstown and now rated 147.
TB then beat 141 rated Vintage Vinnie 10 lengths on better ground over a longer trip at level weights.
A day later over same C&D and on ground described as good, rather than g/s the day before Ziga Boy wins a competitive handicap carrying 20lbs less than TB had the previous day in a time only 5 secs quicker. The times from the 2nd last to the line almost identical, TB 0.5 secs quicker (carrying 20 more lbs).
Today TB gets 1lb from ZB.
Back to his ascot run, we know he's improved going over 3 miles, he also improves for better ground.
Finally today he wears Cheekpieces for the first time since he won a hot renewal of the Neptune trial at chelt last nyd beating As De Mee, Different Gravey & Brother Tedd out of sight!
This seems to have been a major plan for the season running off 140 today, could make the handicapper look very silly but i'll settle for win by a length! 8/1 is massive, should be 3's against an exposed lot like this.
