I tried to back the field at 50, only got matched on 3, all losers. Quite happy to swallow my loses, good luck to anyone that benefitted.

just the IR win mkt affected tho?

When: 16 Feb 16 14:51
Yeah, the graphs don't show any of the crazy prices, so maybe the rest that actually got matched will stand?

Pre-race bets should surely stand.

When the market turns IP and betfair work out the BFSP, are those pre off or IP bets?

Bets should be honored. It was only the display price that was incorrect, and that's just a guide anyway. The prices I was matched at represented the market at the time.

I hope pre race bets stand as I have been doing some arbing in the last couple of days with bookies to build up my points for the Cheltenham cash race. If not then this is a disgrace because I will have lost around £200 in the bets with the bookies. Also got my money tied up so can't do the 4/1 bet 365 offer for 3:05. I hope common sense prevails and all in play bets get voided.

^betfair and common sense, haha. Usually it's if you make a mistake, it's your fault; if they do, sorry, it's not their fault.

When: 16 Feb 16 15:01
No reason at all to void pre race though - nothing wrong with prices before the off.

Can imagine some people must have been badly burnt on this though, feel lucky i exercised as much restraint as i did
By:

When: 16 Feb 16 15:07
Can't see the reason to void IR, like I said, if you played, the prices you received were correct, it was just the display price that was not which is stated as a guide. Those that play on the ladder were oblivious, why should they be penalised
By:
dustybin
When: 16 Feb 16 15:07
If you put a bet on pre race and it got matched IR then by definition there was no problem until after they got matched
By:
carstairs
When: 16 Feb 16 15:08
they'll definitely void the IR win mkt, place mkt(s) were/seemed unaffected

Those that got burnt surely couldn't have thought the prices on offer were genuine?

Ignore that and it was business as usual
