I see A D Brown has another switcher today… nothing to recommend it on all known form it seems… ground might be unsuitable, coming back from a break and looks pretty much out of form… however, on the basis of a yard switch potentially bringing something new to the table and the yard done the trick at the weekend I’ll stick a fiver on and add to one of my BH yankees… my main bet today is Maywedance at Bath… otherwise my other ew Yankee is on the four James Owen runners… with eight win singles to complement my yankees (MWD ew) it will either be fillet steak tonight or bread and dripping, cheers…

You can’t beat a bit of bread and dripping on a Monday evening… think I’ll put a line through Mayeedance, looked promising coming round the bend but didn’t find much and was hanging a bit…

Morning PHS, a nice winner up at Hexham, unfortunately I didn’t back it having backed the other two in singles watched the race unfold, a ready winner no doubt… fair play to Ryan, two nice price winners at early prices, I found his page on OLBG, did the third pick win? A couple of tipsters on there with a healthy strike rate and profit like to put some up at decent odds it seems… I hope Ryan is making a few quid out of his venture…

Claude couldn’t provide a rib of beef for Sunday tea… no real excuses, mark no doubt too high following its maiden win at Wexford…

I put Cuban Girl in my 'tracker' last Autumn following its run at Chelmsford (second start for current trainer) with a note saying wait for turf season... so here we are and this animal takes its chance in the first at Yar... had one start following the winter break finishing last at Southwell, beaten 9 and a bit lengths... ideally I would of liked to have seen another inconspicuous run on the all weather to further improve fitness but in an open race I thought 40/1 ew was fair so had a play at that and also on the machine @ 65 with an IR lay up... if there is a pre race drift before the off I'll know my fate pretty soon... the other positive note for the selection is the race at Southwell has worked out well with four next time out winners... had a saver on Suitcase Smith @ 19 (bigger n0w), John Berry had a good run of things over the last few months and I also look out for is runners... for good measure I've chuck in a  4-6-9-12 combo exacta, cheers...

Action in The Dante tomorrow. He was only 3/1 against Mountain Hawk and Benvenuto Cellini; odds-on last time, but ran inexplicably badly. He was as big as 20 here antepost, only 8 with Lordan riding.
