I’ve played two second time out switchers at Southwell this afternoon… 1.30 Ashen, first start after 6 months off for the Goldie yard saw a respectable four length defeat after hitting traffic, Lauren Young in the saddle today taking an extra 5 off…


Tootsie in the lucky last… still a maiden and dropped down to 6 for only the second time in first start for yard, back up to a mile today in a classified stakes… got some nice placed form at the track and the outside draw over the mile shouldn’t be an inconvenience…

Win single on the first pick, win 4 places second pick and ew dub, cheers…

Afternoon all - I’ve had a play in the next at Chelmsford on the rag Mary Rose @ 100 win and 4 places… very unexposed compared to the bulk of the field… ran over too far on its handicap debut… the form of its third start isn’t too bad so its lowly mark might be worth a few pound more… it’s a poor race, been off the track two months which is a bit of a negative but I’m hoping the trainer (who I know little about) will have this beast ready… as a saver backed the bottom one win only @ 20 plus put the pair in ew dubs with two in the next race, cheers…
