two of the most impressive performances on the eye I've seen for a while

Staggering from both of them. They both could have won by so much further if needed as well.

The funny thing is the racing media would be all over connections if the horses were trained by mullins or owned by ricci.
One trained by a west country, the press dont want to know, btw this guy trains Cue Card. The owner, well we wont ever know about them. Alan King only got interviewed because he had won, doubtful he will ever be invited onto the morning line. |

thought it was interesting that Tizzard said Thistlecrack is a three and a quarter mile chaser really, you can see what he's thinking. They'll need to get their skates on though as he's 8.
He could have won much further but Tom Scu held on to him until approaching the last - surprised his price has n't contracted more. |

Was great to see those two performances today and to a lesser extent Barters performance at Donny to guts it out despite an awful round of jumping -last named clearly wont get away with it on drier ground at Chelters if jumping the same but at least its not all about Mullins this weekend

I think the media have giving up trying to interview JP to get an understanding of his plans.
Thistlecrack looked v special. Was at Aintree when he dotted up in the spring but I didn't take the hint and didn't back him AP. I have re-watched the racing again this evening and reviewed the form and am stating to question what he beat today. Camping ground - did not stay Pitt Zig - failed chaser Guitar Pete - 58 rated on the flat Knockara Beau - 13 years old Hmmmm... a motley crew indeed. 6/4 is pretty short and will look very short if Annie Power turned up. Would not lay but would not bet either. |

Ha, that run at aintree made me go all in, sadly at 12/1, 20's was around
Todays race was the weakest race i ever seen, but as a crack fan i cannot tell you that. I was really hoping mr Tizzard had him half fit. |

Much rather have Thistlecrack of the two.
Yanworth came pretty close to ducking out at one stage. He clearly has a big engine but he doesn't have a great jumping technique and that will be put under more pressure on quicker ground. |

Would love to be sitting on your 12/1 !!
As you say he cannot do more than hammer what is put in front of him. But now I have missed the boat, not keen to pile in at current prices with some much uncertainty of what will turn up on the day. |

exactly wasn't so much what he beat but how and his beating of RDS was scintillating also. Looks like a rolls royce
