Apologies for the fact that this is most likely well trodden ground on here, but I wanted to find out whether the live stream service was any good in terms of quality, reliability and time delay from either ruk or (less likely) atr. Basically are they worth paying for given that tv service would not be an option for me. Also, when searching for these I came across several third party websites offering a 'free' stream. Are any of these to be trusted given nothing comes for free! Thanks for any help

Anything is fine if all you want to do is watch the race, if you are referring to in play forget it completely unless you wish to donate your cash to others

Thanks Cork, would rather donate as little monies as possible to fellow bf chums! I was actually thinking of a little inrunning dabbling to pass the time but only small amounts and never near the end of a race so I thought it might be possible. I remember back int the days of tv, atr was a no go area altogether but ruk was fairly approachable - -I was wondering whether the same principles roughly apply to live stream services or are these further behind tv again, I really dont know. Aside from IR debate I would be happy just to watch races anyway so what you are saying then is maybe the third party sites which are free are as good a shout as any???

Definitely not okthen - the only IR pictures you can play in-running are the Betfair/Bet quack ones unfortunately ( as they can be quite unreliable) - everything else is considerably more delayed than BF's so don't even think about it.

Streams are ok, can be hit and miss on occasion, just a case of keeping them all available as options if one crashes on you

That is for watching only not in running play, that is a definite no as bilbo has said
