Have always given online casino a miss even though I do like to play in actual casinos. Started having a dabble just before xmas out of boredom - not big stakes at all. Today I was playing and suddenly having placed a bet and the spin being in process I got a message saying something like 'Due to connection problems your bet has not been accepted' . I have never had this message before and thought - as you do - I bet my number comes up now. And it did £2.5 and a couple of half bets. Anyone else had anything similar?
Reminds me why I never (unless bored) bet with this firm..
Years ago when the site was in its infancy (!) and I was a player (!) with the alleged "bookmakers" I managed to steal 40/1 about two horses in a race..
(Remember it was when you could get a bet on)..
By some coincidence I was actually watching the race on ATR and was sober and my two selections were clear jumping the second last..
I thought that I would lay for the first and last time both of them at 5/4 and then Betfair went down..
It was nip and tuck to the line and you have guessed it only the winner was laid..
They had both have to have traded at 1/5 and since that day would not trust this site...

yeah hft... betfair must have been out to get you. Maybe they had you on the 'Successful punters watch list' They didn't want you getting matched on both of the selections, that would've meant they would pocket more commission! Very bad for them :(

Swift Tuttle sums it up perfectly. You may win small early, the software allows that. Once the computer recognises your betting pattern and increasing stakes you have no chance whatsoever of beating the software. The software on the roulette is set up to clean everybody out. Online roulette should be banned, it is just one big scandalous fraud. I don't lay blackjack online, but would assume it is an identical situation.
