Paul lost his job because he was constantly upsetting advertisers (bookies). The advertisers keep the paper going. Bruce therefore had no alternative but to warn him not to do it, otherwise bookies might cease spending their money on ads. Paul resigns as a consequence on principle but found there was no other way to be heard than through the pages of the Racing Post. Paul asks for the chance to put his views across again and comeback freelancing. He is told 'no we are fully staffed with writers now'. Paul put his principles first but they don't pay the bills. So the "editor" of the racing post (small case intended) had no control of the content of his paper.He actually published the views of Paul Haigh and hated them.Paul Haigh then took the hump and resigned.. Feck me some-one grow a set of balls... |

I hate the racing post (small case intended) but there will always be a case for a written paper..
The World has gone mad because the younger population can only read snippets of information on a smartphone and they will suffer... |
