Same time next week George.
Like clockwork. ![]() |

Unfortunately, its become totally pointless
By:
It has detriorated massively,Batchelor is juvenile and a joke but not in the manner they hoped for. Too little race analysis and far too much time on trivia trying to attract the gymkhana type viewer to widen advertising appeal whilst losing the core viewers.
By:
Agree, but that's racing all over, they've forgotten about the people who watched 10/20 years ago, whilst trying to attract new people, of which they are failing
By:
They should have it on at 6am or earlier and that would be fine by me
By:
Its like the adults have gone out and put the kids in charge of the house
By:
Fair point dambuster,it is puerile now and despite calling anyone on here knocking it the viewing figures are beyond dispute.
By:
i use to love it, never missed a programme with the old team, i started watching it when the new team started, then couldn't be bothered, i put it on c4+1 and as soon as the Mattie Thing started, i really cringed and put sky sports news on...its absolute dross, which is a shame, because with a step backwards towards the old format , i'm sure it could be successful again.

^^^lol what a bunch of charlatans.

By:
Especially McCoy for Christ's sake.
''I've ridden two and a half million winners and I tip Don Cossack.'' He must have been walking about wearing a blindfold when he wasn't in the stirrups. They're all still in infants school when it comes to picking winners. |

Yip i agree Dr.
By:
do they still do the pig thing?

Gave up on the morning line a long while ago.
It's an outdated concept with very degraded content and to be frank an extra hour's sleep is far more beneficial on a Saturday imo. Should scrap it and try something different....like a Monday night (say 11pm) review program for 45 minutes...could do 35 minutes of shortened replays with post race interviews & analysis with 10 minutes of Sunday Forum style chit chat / Preview of the week ahead....within that 10 minutes you can have a 1 minute weather forecast of the week. Could then have special ML editions for Cheltenham (4 days), Derby and Grand National but 30 minutes MAX. Gina & Graham can handle ALL of this on their own. |
By:
Can't see boring Mick attracting much young blood to the game.

probably one of the worst ideas ever, you should apply for a job on channel 4 racing they'd put you in charge |

By:
McCoy will be programmed by his paymasters the disgusting individual...
By:
The bit that I look forward to is the section where they talk about where the money is going. That bit is more useful that anything else on that programme!
By:
what sort of money would fitz be getting stuffed into his bank account each and every week ?
By:
Trite and banal programme. C4's equivalent of the One Show
By:
wasnt david redvers recently critical of channel 4s coverage of racing which surely incorporates TML.herein lies the problem where you have major racing sponsors trying to dictate editorial content and they are only one amongst many that the coverage is under pressure to appease-a case of you cant please everyone.
By:
Nothing could be as banal as the insufferable "The One Show"... listening to a Mick Fitzgerald monologue would even be preferable,Facts.

Like most TV sport programmes, it only caters for people who are half interested in racing. They are the only ones who get looked after. People who need a few jokes thrown in, as if the racing isn't enough. Question Of Sport viewers mainly. Anyone who has a serious interest in any sport is ignored by TV (except football, of course)
