Biggest joke of a firm this, paid over £600 as an installment, lost about 10pts last week and today lost 4pts with 16pts still to go but 8pts of this are a 4pt ew on a horse that was 5/4 when given but 2 non runners and now odds on ! How can they advise ew on an odds on shot !

Has anyone used them before, I heard they were good and paid out a lot of money, all they do is tip favourites each way and so far I'm over £1000 down in a week, plus subs ?

I was told to £100 per point I would make 5-10K a month, but if I have to bet 2K every day and there's a chance it can all be lost on a day, I'm gonna need a huge bank !!! I told them I had a 5K bank and they told me that would be fine.

Anyone else use them, or have I been scammed ?

You have been advised to have 4pts e/ww on a 5/4 shot and you are asking if you have been scammed
Report lardman December 15, 2015 1:41 PM GMT
It wasn't even 5/4 when I got the message it was 10/11, and it's just won at 10/11, by a pixel in a photo. Told the Nap was 4pts ew Masterful Act and until 50 yards out it looked like it would be 3rd !

Effectively £100 up now today, but £1200 staked to be £100 up, had it placed, I would have been £700 down, had it got 3rd, £1200 down.

I've contacted them telling them I've changed my mind, but been told I agreed £600 a month and they don't normally do installments ! He said If I didn't pay I would be sued for the remaining owed to them. They don't do refunds. I suggested he kept the £600 and ended it there but he's insisted I have to pay for the full year in installments as that's what I've agreed. I'm already 1600 down inc subs, this was not what I was expecting at all.

You're the one who hasn't got a clue, if a horse is each way... it's basically a win bet and a place bet at the same time.

If the place part is 1/4 the odds for example then the 5/4 becomes 5/16 (around 1/3) for the place bet.

So the question is whether the horse has a greater chance than 1/3 to place or not.

If it does have a greater chance than 1/3 to finish within the placings... going each way to add the place part to the win bet would be the correct thing to do.

I just assume your IQ is very low!

if you had done even the slightest research you would have found out they are well known for tipping up short priced favs e/w,or 2nd favs e/w in maidens and nov hurdles

lardman, if you PM me the contract I will look at it for you.   I would think is likely cause to think this is unenforceable by them.

Poulanassy ew at 4/1 was their other 4pt ew bet today. If placed I lose £80 of 800 bet, and means on day I will be £20 up fOR £2000 STAKED. I'm not impressed.

Thank God that won, don't feel so bad now, £2020 up on day, £420 UP ON service inc subs, think i will refuse to pay anymore and just not bet any more tips and quit ahead.

Lardman, this service used to be a good thing but I don't know how it's been doing in recent years.

The guy who ran the service went to jail for whipping a woman or something weird like that, you can look up the strange story (and no, I'm not joking).

If you're getting so stressed out that you need to start a thread going on a rant like this about a tipping service, you should really think carefully about whether you want to continue or not.

It's not worth it if it's really stressing you out if you think about it, win or lose...

So probably the right decision you've made.

It's just I was told how good it was and how much I can make a year. I have to pay 80K off my mortgage in 15 months or I lose my house as nearly 65, so I took a 10K loan and thought this was the answer to my prayers but the first 10 days have made me very nervy as can't afford to lose this money.

I was told I would make hundreds of thousands by Isiris and that he was looking after me by offering installments and that my 10K would be enough to cover any losing runs, but I was 1K down after a week, and had today not gone swimmingly I could have been 3K down in less than 2 weeks. I just wonder if say they had a losing run of 100pts, and if so it would wipe me out completely, but staking 20% of my bank in one day on ew bets on short priced horses was worrying me.

I've lost loads over the years, even on here I'm about 50K down over 10 years and I've never been a big bettor but need to make this money in 15 months when I retire. I thought I had found the golden egg laying hen, but I'm losing sleep over it as can't afford to lose this money.

Was a very profitable service end of 90's and in early part of 2000's before the spell in Jail
Specialised in longer priced each ways in races with a short price fav in fields of 8,9or 10 often in doubles and some ante posts

can't afford to lose this money

If you can't afford to lose the money you shouldn't continue IMO.

Maybe spend £100 to £200 of your winnings seeing a local solicitor to take a quick look at the contract?

The junior solicitors at many firms will see new people the same day for a fixed fee, and if they're unsure of anything they'll ask the higher ups in the same firm for their opinions.

If your contract is unenforceable then you'll be finishing in profit.

That's worthless and unenforceable no matter what they pretend.

If they chase you up you can always stonewall them.

No need to see a solicitor, just be happy you're £420 ahead Silly

that's how they used to advertise 85% strike rate in their adverts...cos they'd have all these short-priced EW bets and claim an EW on a 13/8-shot was a winning bet even if it only got placed and you lost overall! leave well alone imo
