ar mad..over 5 secs quicker than the tingle creek

Don't think the second ran to the same form as last time.

That's some going. They didn't mess about in that Tingle Creek.

Timeform make it 4 secs quicker, with the field in the TC finishing particularly slowly (with the obvious implication that they went too quick in that race)

Ar Mad was in front all race...timing from the first fence:

1 second up jumping the last railway fence
0.7 up at pond fence
3 seconds up at last
bit more at the line.

bizarrely, i think both are true, dan! (i just looked at the times and the finishing speeds)

after finishing 6th at plumpton in october timeform suggested {likely to prove better at some stage}i dont think they expected him to win a grade one 2 races later beating the very decent bristol de mai 10 lengths.
